Happy New Year

Let the reading begin!!! Here is to another year filled with amazing new reads and reacquainting with some old favorites. I cannot wait to dig into my reading pile that is literally taller than I am. I have many challenges set for me this year and I hope to accomplish all that I have obliged myself to complete. Rock on 2009

Hello, this is Karin from Karin's Book Nook. I just wanted to say thank you for linking to my blog in your sidebar. Also, I love your layout. I love your Reading Pile and your Waiting for Picasa slideshows. Also, I saw that Intertwined by Gena Showalter is on your YA Challenge list. I haven't heard about that one. I have enjoyed Gena's other books like Blacklisted, Red Handed, and Oh My Goth. I'll have to look at Intertwined and see what it is about. THanks for the info.

Hiya Karin,
I just love your blog. You have some of the best YA reviews around and so I always go to your site get information on what is up and coming.

As for Interwined by Gena Showalter. I know that she was working on a new YA book and when she had updated her web page she had Intertwined listed. The premise for that book sounded amazing. It may come out later this year or even in 2010...but wow!!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. As for the Mortal Instruments series. WOW!!! Your god-daughter has great taste. I love those books. I can't wait for the prequels that will come out in 2010.

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
