Lunch with SARAH DESSEN hosted by NYMBC

This event is hosted by NYMBC an awesome book club that has hosted some pretty amazing events in the San Francisco bay area. This past Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the Debutant ball with authors C. Lee McKenzie, Sarah Quigley and Cheryl Renee Herbsman. I had alot of fun for the event included tiara's, necklaces, brownies, strawberries and sparkling cider!! WOOT. Jennifer and Shannon really know how to host an event and when I found out about this upcoming event I had to share. Unfortunately you have to be in the area at that time, but if you are near it is too good to pass up.

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
