Ohh, I would love to win this book. I've been a fan of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes for many years, but wasn't in love with her Kiesha'Ra series. I need to read this book, hoping it's as good as her earlier work.

Amelia is a new author for me and I'd love to read this. Looks like a great book.

LiLi wrote: February 25, 2010 at 1:52 PM

I have several of Amelia's novels. What first got me interested in her work was mostly the morbid way she has with telling vampire-tales. I soon researched her and found out that she started out as a teenage writer, and since I was already interested in her books I've been enjoying them more and more each time!

Okay, I want to win this book because I love her books!! Especially, Wyvernhail!!!And I just finished reading The Persistence of Memory, and I loved it, too. Plus, she wrote her first book when she was 13 yrs. old, and I read it when I was 13, too, and thanks to that book I found one of my all-time favorite poems: Burning Bright.

I graduated from High School in 2005 but I remember spending a lot of time in the library hunting down books to read. This was before I became the reader I am today. But Amelia's books stuck out to me and I quickly gobbled up whatever the library had. I've been planning on re-reading everything I did during High School and I'm excited about a new novel!!

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
