Happy New Year!! and thanks

I wanted to thank everyone involved with my love of reading for the most amazing year and hope that this new year proves to be better yet. I hope that I can devote more time to my blog and my beloved books that bring me much comfort and joy and that I get to meet more inspiring authors and generous readers this coming year.
This past year was very difficult for my mother was quite ill and spent a majority of the year in the hospital. Because I had a full time job that was located hours away from my mother I had to travel many hours and spend alot of time caring for her and neglecting the things that gave me much pleasure, such as reading and my blog. I hope that with this new year I will be able to dedicate more time to my blog and am looking into change a few things in the future.
So, here is to a new year. May everyone have a prosperous and joyful one and thank you for following me.

Thank you for all you do with your amazing blog. I don't have a full time job, or travel and I don't do half as much on my blog! I always find such great info here and also have received some terrific books. I hope this year is much easier for you and your family and that you get more time for yourself. Best wishes for a happy, healthy new year! :)

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
