Sneak a Peek Saturday is a feature that lets you "peek" into an upcoming book. Sometimes, it is a chapter or two and maybe even less, either way it is an amazing opportunity that I enjoy seeking out and sharing.

This week I have selected The Mephisto Covenant by Trinity Faegen. As always the cover and book description has gotten my attention and then I had someone describe the books as JR Ward-esk and I was so on board that my ship sailed.

Just click on the book cover for the first chapter

Sasha is desperate to find out who murdered her father. When gettingthe answer means pledging her soul to Eryx, she unlocks a secret thatputs her in grave danger—Sasha is Anabo, a daughter of Eve, andEryx’s biggest threat.

After a thousand years, he’s finallyfound the girl he’s been searching for: Sasha.
With the threat of Eryx looming, Jax has to keep Sasha safe andwin her over. But can he? Will Sasha love him and give up her mortallife?

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
