Bay Area Book Events: Kepler's

Happy Labor Day! and I hope that everyone is having a safe and happy holiday.

Today I am showcasing Kepler's book store as part of my quest to promote all Indie book store YA events in the SF Bay Area.

Kepler's is my favorite book store because it has an impressive collection of books and it even has a sequestered area especially created for book events. I always enjoy spending time there and the staff is really helpful especially Angela, whom is the YA events coordinator. She has a plethora of knowledge and a passion for this genre unlike anyone I know. Next time you attend an event make sure to say hello and tell her how much you enjoy these events. A great place to get to know more about what she reads and enjoys is Kepler's Teen blog: THE BOOK BIND

In the next coming weeks and especially in the month of October, Kepler's is going to have a deluge of amazing YA authors. It goes without saying that I am very excited about this fall line up of amazement and want to share it with everyone.

Wow! That's amazing -- some great events. Wish I lived closer. We don't have events like that in SC, unfortunately.

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
