Sneak a Peek Saturday is a feature that I like to indulge in because I cannot wait to read the tasty tid bits that are put out there for us ravenous readers to enjoy.

This week I am showcasing a book that I am most excited about. THE NIGHTMARE GARDEN by Caitlin Kittredge is one of my highly anticipated reads for this year. WOW!!! I could not rave about THE IRON THORN enough last year and in a couple of days. If you are as excited as I am about this series hopefully this chapter sample will keep you satiated until
then.

Just click on the book cover and enjoy.

Everything Aoife thought she knew about the world was a lie. There is no Necrovirus. And Aoife isn't going to succomb to madness because of a latent strain—she will lose her faculties because she is allergic to iron. Aoife isn't human. She is a changeling—half human and half from the land of Thorn. And time is running out for her.

When Aoife destroyed the Lovecraft engine she released the monsters from the Thorn Lands into the Iron Lands and now she must find a way to seal the gates and reverse the destruction she's ravaged on the world that's about to poison her.

Hi,

I too am a huge fan of 'The Iron Codex'!!! I already pre-ordered mine and got an email last week, saying it was released early and supposedly on its way within a few days. (Checked the status: still 'processing'...)

However, I'm not clicking the cover to read the excerpt, LOL. I'm just gonna wait for the book. Because I know it won't be long now... (Too long anyway, but still...)

I am happy that you enjoy this series as much as I do. I just adore it and this March Caitlin will visit my area...so exciting.

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
