My Thoughts 

When I first grabbed REVIVED by Cat Patrick I was more than intrigued with it's premise. My curiosity then led me to her website where I noticed that she has coined her writing genre as  "Strange in Normalville". With that admission I was instantly convinced that I needed to read this novel and was very glad that I did. 
  
REVIVED is a novel unlike any other and after a few pages I could not seem to stop reading until the very end. The story of a Daisy Appleby. a teenager working for a secret governmental agency that has the ability to restore life is unique and Cat Patrick does a fine job of introducing this concept with well structured and supportive dialogue. Daisy had been revived several times and this makes her have a very caviler approach to life until she meets someone that completely changes her attitude towards everything. When Daisy commits an unthinkable act she discovers more than what she could have ever believed possible.


I enjoyed this novel for several reasons and Daisy Appleby is at the top of my list. Her character was smart, tough and the same time vulnerable, and when she had to deal with a some controversial issues I could understand her actions behind them. Even her arrogant actions about her life could be understood, wouldn't you act differently if you were brought back from death five times? I know I would. This story also had a great supportive cast, especially Matt the boy that every girl would want for a boyfriend. He was the the bit of romantic relief that this story benefited from and he was a joy to swoon over.  


REVIVED is a great read that is well paced read that will keep you on the edge of your seat and wondering if you had the power to be REVIVED what would you do?
