Jill at Breaking the Spine started this and I believe that it's awesome" This blog post is to alert those that visit about "the" book that we cannot wait to get our hands on.

Woot!! I am so very excited for this series. I really enjoyed Darynda Jones' adult series and when I learned that she was coming out with a YA series, well I could not be any happier. If only October would get hear faster. Now you know my WoW, what is yours?

DEATH AND THE GIRL NEXT DOOR
Darklight, Book One
by Darynda Jones
ISBN-13: 978-0312625207
St. Martin's Griffin, 320 pages.
Amazon , B&N, Goodreads
Things get turned upside down for sophomore Lorelei MacAlister when the Angel of Death starts high school in her small town. What she doesn’t know is that she has been slated to die. It’s simply her time. And Death has been sent to do the deed. But when he touches her, when he peers into her eyes and reaches into her heart, he realizes she is more than what he was led to believe, and he disobeys his orders. He brings her back from the brink of death when he was supposed to push her into it. Because of this, he gets trapped on this plane. And that’s when all hell breaks loose. Literally.

Absolutely love the look and sound of this book! Can't wait to get my hands on it. The girl on the cover reminds me of Emma Stone and, well, I have a total chick crush on this gal! LOL Great pick, sweetie!

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
