Today I have an amazing guest post made of RockStar proportions from author  LESLEY LIVINGSTON on my stop for the Authors ARE Rockstars tour, and not only will she have a giveaway of STARLING but she will share some exclusive content showcasing her work on creating the audiobook for STARLING **Bows head and gives rock anthem salute**

When I first read LESLEY LIVINGSTON'S debut novel WONDROUS STRANGE, I became an instant fan girl because I  knew that Lesley had created something magical. She had managed to write an incredibly amazing novel that was the amalgamation of everything that I adore in a story: Romance, Mythology, Adventure, Mystery and a gorgeously hot character named Sonny. Since then, Lesley has written a few more novels and her most recent novel STARLING, will hit  book shelves everywhere on August, 28th 2012.

Being a huge fan of audiobooks you can only imagine how very happy I have been to listen to Lesley's audiobooks because she does her own readings. If you have already listened to any of her audiobooks then you can understand why I enjoy them so much and if you have not,  then you just need to watch the exclusive video showcasing Lesley while she is working on her audiobook of STARLING to understand why you should.

ZOMG!!! How incredibly amazing was that video? Although I have already read STARLING I know that I will have to listen to the audiobook and if you are interested as I am I have some information for you.
The downloadable audiobook will be on sale 8/28, simultaneous w/the hardcover. The audio can be purchased from as well as iTunes, eMusic, and a number of other retailers. Since you can’t preorder audio like you can hardcovers, the title won’t appear on these sites until the on-sale date.

"Love is just the beginning... of the end."

Mason Starling is a champion fencer for Gosforth Academy, but she’s never had to fight for her life. Until now. When a ferocious storm rips through Manhattan and unleashes terrifying creatures onto Gosforth’s campus, Mason barely escapes alive. Without help from the mysterious stranger who appeared in the midst of the storm, she might not have made it at all. But now, in the aftermath, Mason’s life begins to spin dramatically, mystically out of control, and the only one who seems able to help her is the stranger who can remember nothing but his name: Fennrys Wolf.

As Mason and Fenn uncover more about Fenn’s past and the strange events that surround them, they realize that Mason’s family — and its dark allegiance to the ancient Norse gods — is at the center of everything. A predetermined fate seems to be closing in on Mason, but is it possible to change one’s destiny?

Now for a cool giveaway. Lesley Livington is giving a signed of STARLING and all you have to do is enter fill out the form below to win. GOOD LUCK!! and remember to spread the word.

"Voice recording-it's all about the toes." This is my new favorite quote. :D

I'd love to win Starling because, well, it's Lesley Livingston! She rocked my socks off with the Wonderous Strange series, and I fully expect the same treatment with this series!

OMG! I loved this little video of Lesley recording the audiobook! :)

I am looking forward to Starling because I am a HUGE fan of Lesley's work. I met her at her book launch for Once Every Never and she was an amazing person to meet!

Thanks for the great giveaway! And I'm a new follower. :)

Loved her Wondrous Strange Series!

Oh this was so amazing! I loved getting a peek at the visual of an audiobook recording. And Ms. Livingston did such a wonderful performance of her book. She makes me want to skip work and just read STARLING now!

Though I had no idea about the toes. I know someone looking to break into the audiobook recording business so I will definitely pass that piece of sage advice on. :)

What a creative and awesome stop. While I've listened to audiobooks before, I think I'll make STARLING my very first audiobook purchase.

Thanks so much for being a part of this tour, hosting this creative and funny and amazing author! And I totally agree with you that Lesley Livingston did create something magical with her Wondrous Strange series!

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
