END OF SUMMER EPIC GIVEAWAY

UPDATE: as of today 9/3/2012 more books and swag were added to this giveaway. Please, check them out.

The tans will fade, but the memories will last forever.

Our memories of the ocean will linger on, long after our footprints in the sand are gone.

Summer will be gone in September but it's still something I’ll always remember.
The above quote was found while perusing the internet but an author for that quote was never found. I can say with most certainty that it is NOT me. Yet, I felt that it fit for this new giveaway of mine. While recently moving I found that I did not have the space that I needed for many of my beloved books and thus decided to host an END OF SUMMER EPIC GIVEAWAY. Just look at the lovely novels in the image below. Don't you just want to hug them all? If not, then don't worry because I have already done that as I have bid them all adieu and placed them in box to go to the next good home.

My favorite thing about this summer would have to be how we turned moving into a vacation (cannot remember the last time we had vacationed).
We went tent camping, visited the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in D.C., toured the battle fields of York Town in V.A., and went to Busch Gardens.
It was just one unforgettable summer and I'm so glad I had the chance to spend it with my family.

Sorry about the long comment. Hope you had a great summer, too, Nancy. =)

This summer was pretty brutal. I mean, it was just ridiculously hot for a Michigan summer, I think. So I didn't spend as much time reading outside this summer. But...I drove down to Ohio to visit my dad. We visited the Columbus Zoo which I hadn't visited in...about 16 years. So much had changed; it was a blast!

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
