SWEET EVIL Read-A-Long: Week 3

Thank you for joining me today for week three of the Sweet Evil Read-A-Long hosted by the most awesome Mindy from Magical Urban Fantasy Reads and co-hosted by myself and Tara from Taters Tall Tales, Rachel from Fiktshun and Jaime from Two Chicks on Books.

I hope that everyone involved is enjoying our SWEET EVIL Read-A-Long. Although I am new to the SWEET EVIL love train (boop boop, alllll aboard) I am an ardent fan. This novel had everything that anyone could ask for in a book; romance, adventure, mystery and ohh yeah! some wicked evil to get the heart pumping.

Topic Week 3

This TRUTH OR DARE was inspired by a particular passage within SWEET EVIL

"How about a game of Truth or Dare?" Marna offered.

I was immediately apprehensive. Just as I was about to suggest something else, Kaidan spoke and my heart faltered.

"I'll go first," he said. "I dare Kope to kiss Anna."

Everything inside me flooded with fury and embarrassment. Kaidan leaned far back with his arms crossed, cocky. I stood up without thinking and hooked my foot under his chair, swiftly kicking upward and causing him to topple backward. He looked up at me from the ground with a stunned expression that morphed into a grin.

Since this week's topic seemed like a scenario best played out between two or more people. I decided to play Truth or Dare with Tara from Taters Tall Tales. We had a list of Truth or Dare questions to choose from and funny enough, we chose the exact same questions for each other. So, here goes

TTT: If you were the opposite sex for one day who would you look like and what would you do?

RR:  Hmmmmm, believe it or not I have given this topic a considerable amount of thought and I instantly thought of one man. Justin Timberlake!! Hello, he is smexy as heck.

and the main reason I would want to be Mr. Timberlake for a day is so that I could go do this

And, how can I forget this sweet tune!!

Question #2
TTT: What is your guilty pleasure?

RR: Uggggg!!!  Ok I love to watch the reality TV. The Housewives, my big fat gypsy wedding, creature catchers, road rules, project runway, I'm Amish and I know it,  jerseylicious, say yes to the dress, Here comes honey boo boo.....and so much more. Yes, I am an addicted fool and how could I not be with moments like this to entertain me.

Who can forget Teresa the table flipper?

 Wanna eat Sketti?

Last but not least we have the dare. I begrudgingly will have you witness my nail polish obsession. It's bad ya'll real bad.

My nail polish holder from OPI

As you can tell it's bad but I cannot help myself. I am obsessed to the max.

I hope that your enjoying the read-a-long and that you keep it up and please don't forget to enter the contest :)

OMG! Same here, I can't help myself when it comes to reality shows. And the table flip scene was epic. I'm from Jersey too, but those are some Crazy people. LOL

your nail polish collection is wow @_@. You must be good in art unlike me I can't polish my own nail. I have to rely on salon nail artist for that. I'm not a do it yourself kind of girl.

That is an awesome nail polish holder!!! I actually used to have one similar! I had tons of colors but most eventually dried out and now I usually just wear black since it goes with everything. As I got older I got lazy. lol I would love to be Justin for a day. Honestly I'd love to be any guy cause I've always wanted to know what it would be like for at least one day. I'm not that big of a reality TV fan. I do watch Housewives now and then.

Wow, that IS a lot of nail polish, but you have some amazing colors there! Love them!

Gosh, reality TV is one my guilty pleasures as well - not necessarily the shows you're watching, apart from Housewives sometimes, but still. *lol*

I would love to see what you have to say :)

“Reading is everything. Reading makes me feel like I've accomplished something, learned something, become a better person. Reading makes me smarter. Reading gives me something to talk about later on. Reading is the unbelievably healthy way my attention deficit disorder medicates itself. Reading is escape, and the opposite of escape; it's a way to make contact with reality after a day of making things up, and it's a way of making contact with someone else's imagination after a day that's all too real. Reading is grist. Reading is bliss.”
